Ball Game Academy Privacy Policy
Effective Date: Dec 1, 2023
Last Updated: Jan 19, 2026
Ball Game Academy & Development, LLC (“Ball Game Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you visit www.ballgameacademy.com (the “Site”), register for programs through our registration provider, purchase products, or otherwise interact with us online.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (1) information you provide, (2) information collected automatically, and (3) information from third parties.
Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the Site, you may provide:
Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
Registration information (via LeagueApps): participant/player name, age/grade, emergency contacts, and other program-related details you submit during registration.
Communications: messages you send us (e.g., inquiries, support requests, feedback).
Purchases: order details, billing/shipping address (if applicable), and transaction history.
Payment Information
Program registrations and payments may be processed through LeagueApps and/or their integrated payment providers. We typically receive limited transaction information (e.g., confirmation and amount), and we do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on our servers unless explicitly stated at checkout.
Information Collected Automatically (Cookies/Tracking)
When you visit the Site, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:
Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system.
Usage data: pages viewed, clicks, time spent, referring/exit pages.
Cookies and similar technologies
Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from:
LeagueApps (registration and participation information you submit on their platform),
Payment processors (transaction confirmations and fraud signals),
Advertising/analytics providers (e.g., Meta/Facebook and website analytics tools).
How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
Provide and administer programs and services (registrations, rosters, scheduling, communications).
Process payments and provide receipts and customer support.
Communicate with you about schedules, updates, changes, and program logistics.
Send promotional communications (news, camps, clinics, offers) where permitted by law. You can opt out anytime.
Improve the Site and program experience (analytics, troubleshooting, testing).
Maintain safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, protecting rights and property).
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in these circumstances:
With Service Providers (Vendors)
We share information with vendors who help us operate, including:
LeagueApps (our registration and program management platform),
Payment processing partners used through LeagueApps or other checkout services,
Website hosting and email communication providers,
Analytics providers that help us understand how the Site is used.
These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to provide services to us.
Advertising Partners (Meta/Facebook)
We use Meta (Facebook) advertising tools, which may include the Meta Pixel or similar technologies. These tools can collect or receive information from the Site and use it to:
measure ad performance,
show you relevant ads on Meta platforms,
build and deliver custom audiences (for example, showing ads to people who visited our Site).
This may involve sharing identifiers (like cookie IDs or hashed contact data, where applicable) in a way that some privacy laws treat as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Legal, Safety, and Rights
We may disclose information if we believe it’s necessary to:
comply with law or legal process,
protect the safety of participants, families, or the public,
prevent fraud or security issues,
protect our rights, property, and operations.
Business Transfers
If we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
With Your Direction
We may share information when you request or direct us to do so (for example, to coordinate program logistics).
Cookies, Analytics, and Targeted Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
keep the Site working properly,
remember preferences,
understand Site usage,
measure and improve marketing.
Your Choices
Browser controls: You can manage cookies via your browser settings (blocking cookies may impact Site functionality).
Meta/Facebook ad preferences: You can adjust ad settings in your Facebook/Instagram account to control interest-based ads.
Opt-out of “sharing” for targeted ads (where applicable): See Section 9 for U.S. state privacy rights (including California).
Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no universal standard, the Site may not respond to all such signals.
Email and Text Communications
If you register or subscribe, we may send program-related messages (e.g., confirmations, schedule updates, policy or safety notices) and, where allowed, marketing messages.
You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in the email.
You may still receive non-marketing communications that are necessary to provide services.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for:
program administration,
recordkeeping,
legal/compliance requirements,
resolving disputes,
enforcing agreements.
Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for parents/guardians and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without a parent/guardian providing it during registration or communications.
If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13 improperly, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Your Privacy Rights (Including California)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
request access to personal information we hold,
request correction or deletion,
opt out of certain processing (including targeted advertising in some states),
appeal certain decisions (where applicable).
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California law may allow you to:
request to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose,
request deletion or correction,
opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because we use Meta/Facebook advertising tools that may be considered “sharing” under California law, you can submit an opt-out request by contacting us using the information below. (If you later add a cookie preference banner or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, you can direct users there as well.)
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
How to exercise rights: Email us at contact@ballgameacademy.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
Third-Party Platforms and Links
Registration and certain services are provided through LeagueApps, which has its own privacy practices. If you register through LeagueApps, your information may be handled according to their policies in addition to ours. The Site may also link to third-party websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
International Visitors
If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the U.S. or other locations where our service providers operate. By using the Site, you understand your information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date indicates when changes were made. Updates become effective when posted on the Site.
